Harassment Policy

Hi, and welcome to MapleStorySEA Wiki. Harassment of Users will lead to a thorough investigation and perhaps even a Block. As the saying goes, "Do not feed the Balrogs", never give a negative response to a troll, because it only motivated them to harrass you further.

Administrative Harassment

By far, the most serious type of Harassment on MapleStorySEA Wiki is of an Administrator or Bureaucrat. If an Administrator or Bureaucrat is harassed, it will result in a block of the offender. Disobeying and/or attacking an Administrator or Bureaucrat's order or comment, if the comment is reasonable, will result in a Block as well.

If an Administrator or Bureaucrat harasses others, he/she will be blocked and have their User Rights taken away.

User Attacks

Personal Attacks include disparaging another User, insulting them, making jokes about them (without their permission and/or in a bad way), or threatening them (or using excessive threats such as death threats). Warnings do not count as threats.

Vandalism Attacks

Vandalism Attacks include editing one's message to insult someone else (although changing a message due to personal/sensitive issues is allowed) and editing one's User Page to insult a User. Harassing a User on his/her Talk Page also falls under this category.

Hate Lists

Hate Lists or Hatred Expressing should not be made by a User. Also, starting a new Wiki saying that you hate a user is against Wikia's policies and will be closed by the Wikia Staff.

However, people are entitled to their opinions when they speak of things not related to other members or users. If someone says that he dislikes a certain object, other users are not allowed to create a hate group against that person.

New Users

If a New User (Accounts which are less than 14 days old on MapleStorySEA Wiki) makes a mistake, it is strictly forbidden for people to attack or flame that User. Instead, a fixing of that mistake should be made. If necessary, a message may be left on that User's Talk Page to inform him. If the User chooses to ignore the suggestions and sticks to his own way, it may result in a block under a breach of the Warning Policy.

Fights

All fights that begin in MapleStorySEA Wiki will stay on this Wiki or be resolved through email, unless it gets dragged out to the point where neither party obeys the Policies, in which case a Wikia Staff member may be called in to help.

Furthermore, Users who bring in fights from other websites or Wikis will be banned in accordance to the Blocking Policy.
